Cousins Market is a family owned and operated business, established in 1978 in one of Mississauga’s finest communities - Port Credit.
Pat Battaglia, original founder of Cousins Market began his entrepreneurial skills at a very young age in a small town in Italy. He would bring to market the families harvest and ply his trade in selling to the local outdoor market. This was the beginning of Pat’s dream Cousins’. Pat realized that to be successful you must provide your customers with the best available product and provide the best service. It was with these experiences that Pat came to Canada. After working for several years, on College Street in little Italy where he refined his skills as a butcher, then onto St. Clair Ave in Toronto, Pat realized it was now time to fulfill his dream to provide for his family and to build a business he could be proud of.
Today Pat’s sons Gus, Mark and Anthony share that same passion for quality and superior customer service. The three brothers continue to offer the very best in service, quality and selection of epicurean foods for cooking, eating and entertaining.
